Drivewise - Promoting safe driving to the under 17s.

"Well done to these pupils from Galashiels Academy who won a road safety competition in conjunction with Transport Scotland and other key partners, as part of the new Drivewise initiative. Drivewise is a programme that promotes safe driving to under 17s and allows them to take part in supervised practical driving (off-road). The aim is to promote road safety & develop practical skills that will help when they turn 17 and begin to learn how to drive through the normal process. The competition asked Art and Graphics students at the school to design a logo, posters, flyers and other materials
